Favorite Wine/Beer/Distillery Experience:

"Castoro Cellars is a great iconic wine tasting destination (I’m biased I know). The atmosphere is laid back, approachable and the wines are amazing and still made by the original winemaker! Firestone Walker Brewing Company is hard to beat, the beers are fantastic, the brewmaster Matt is the nicest guy in town and the taproom serves up delicious food. For an iconic distillery experience, Re:Find has been crafting as long as anybody and have been an inspiration to the rest of us coming up."

Good Eats

Best Coffee, Breakfast and Brunch:

"Favorite coffee spot is Spearhead, they roast their own coffee and make a delicious brew! Favorite breakfast is Kitchenette in Templeton, the mushroom polenta is next level and the loaded avocado toast is LOADED."

Favorite Lunch and Dinner Spots:

Simply put: "Finca, Fish Gaucho, Alchemist’ Garden..." Some things speak for themselves.

Favorite Thing To Do in Paso:

"Templeton Farmer’s Market, right outside of Paso. We take our kids every Saturday and the community feel is so amazing. Kids are running around, the vendors are great and the weather is almost always on point. Another great one is Jack Creek Farms on HWY 46, the kids absolutely love it and happy kids make happy parents!"

Hidden Gems in Paso:

"River Oaks Hot Springs Spa is great spot to relax with your partner and treat yourself to a massage and soak. Negranti Creamery Scoop Shop, maybe not be so hidden but it's definitely a gem... we go almost every week!

Best Time of Year to Visit:

"Fall is amazing, there’s a buzz in the air with harvest and if you time it right you can incorporate Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival into your visit for the experience of a lifetime! One of my favorite memories has to be the first time we sold out Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival when we had Michael Franti & Spearhead in 2017. We had worked so hard for years to get to that moment and experiencing it in real life was unbelievable. The crowd was so engaged and the energy was through the roof, it was truly spectacular."

How to Spend a Weekend on the Central Coast:

"My weekends are spent with my wife and kids adventuring around the beautiful Central Coast. Our go-to is a drive down Old Creek Road to Cayucos for a beach day followed by waffles at the Hidden Kitchen."
